Listen! Share! Enjoy! Lend a Hand!
We are an independent band. We have no label, no corporate pockets to pick, no millions to splatter our name across the mediascape. This means we need your help in spreading the word. Please embed this player wherever you think people might like to see it. Blog about us, talk about us. We can’t do this without your help. Thank you, thank you, thank you in advance.

WPA is an expandable collective, with Luke Bulla (Lyle Lovett), Sean Watkins (Nickel Creek) and Glen Phillips (Toad the Wet Sprocket) at its core.
We recorded our record with additional members Sara Watkins (Nickel Creek), Benmont Tench (Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers), Greg Leisz (Bill Frisell, Joni Mitchell), Pete Thomas (Elvis Costello and the Imposters), and Davey Faragher (Cracker, the Imposters). While we would love to have that complete community be present all the time, the logistics of getting all of us in the same place at the same time are fairly mind boggling, so:
We will usually appear as a 5 piece (listed as Core Band on the tour page), but whenever possible we will have 7 or 8 people (Expanded Band). All configurations will kick ass.
What an inspired and soulful album this is. There is music that keeps you going and there is music that lifts you up, and this is the latter. Given the musicians involved with this amazing band, I guess I shouldn’t be surprised that this is the best album I have heard in a long time.
Just received my cd. Thank you for the prompt delivery.
Absolutely love this album! I hope there are still some autographed booklets left, because I need to order another copy to share.
Amazing album. Every few nights, I post a link to one of the WPA youtube videos to try and spread the word. This will be the cd that all of my friends and family get for Christmas.
Dudes and lady,
It would be really cool if you guys could schedule more shows for people of all ages. I’m turning 15 soon, and all of your shows near me are for 18+…
Hi!
Thanks for writing, and for your support of WPA.. we’re really proud of this album, so it’s really gratifying to hear when others are enjoying it as much as we are!
Wanted to also let you know we’ll be setting up a holiday promotion soon, with some great deals and some cool bonuses like posters signed by the band – so check back soon!
All the best,
Justine, WPA management team
I first heard a cut from this on WDVX. After doing some more listening, this is easily the best album I heard in a long time. It’s clear the primary focus behind these artists is a love for the music. The twin fiddles infused with a rocking sound blow me away. Can’t wait for your show in Pittsburgh, PA!

Sorry about that. We do as many all ages as we can, but some times we can’t make the routing and the venues work.
saw the band last night in philly on a whim – it was fantastic! Not only the venue at World Cafe Live (never been there before), but the group but on a great show. Music was amazing, banter between was endearing, and the tidbits of stories of how and who wrote particular songs sucked me in completely – thanks!
